Wanted to commend for jumping right in and introducing himself. The strength of communities like this is in the collaborative experience and knowledge of the group. We have the unique privelege of building a community of experienced clinicians, veteran athletes, and fitness enthusiasts with lived experience. You all have something to contribute. Whether there is a license to your name, titles and trophies on your walls, or lived struggles and wisdom from balancing professional/familial duties and your own health and wellness - it all matters and it all can help the next individual.
For this reason I have created the "introductions" category and would encourage all of you to write out a post there telling a bit about yourself, your experiences, and what you're hoping to gain from the community.
Remember, this isn't a "guru" style platform, but community in the truest sense. Jacob and I are here to create educational material for you, yes. But more so than that we are here to facilitate true comraderie amongst the group and assist each of us in learning from and helping those around us.
