Weekly Roundup: AI, MCP, DNC Lessons, and More
Quick Friday Update of everything going on over the last week. We just crossed 211 members in the community, which is pretty crazy considering we aren't promoting this at all. Time to change that and get more active. A few things worth checking out this week: 🏠 Buyer connection: Home + Auto Insurance @Brian Harley is looking to connect with someone who has a buyer for home and auto insurance leads. They’re generating in the range of 200,000 leads per month, so if you're driving traffic and looking for more buyers, reach out to Bryan. https://www.skool.com/leadcapture/looking-for-insurance-lead-publishers-for-a-buyer-ready-to-go?p=0afd0b36 📈 What’s working outside of Meta? @Rahman Y. asked about alternative traffic sources outside of Meta. He’s tested TikTok and other channels and found that, despite cheap CPCs, the lead quality wasn’t there. If you’re having success with other traffic channels, jump into the thread and share what’s working: https://www.skool.com/leadcapture/best-traffic-sources-atm?p=30743f9a ☎️ Interesting DNC compliance learning A lot of people have asked us about adding DNC screening directly into LeadCapture, where we could check a phone number against federal and state DNC lists at the point of capture. I had a really interesting call with DNC.com today as we start exploring this. One big learning: if you’re accessing the National Do Not Call Registry, there’s a registration/subscription process that results in something called a SAN, or Subscription Account Number. That creates an interesting challenge for us because we can’t necessarily just flip on DNC screening for everyone. We need to think through how the appropriate SAN gets associated with the business or client actually using the data.

Mortgage calculators?
What’s the best way to add a mortgage calculator to a landing page? Is this something we should embed? Is there a way to add it to the form?
recorded Q&A: how freelancers/agencies can close more sales calls
(posting with permission) hey folks, I did a podcast interview recently with a sales expert specifically for agencies and freelancers, talking about how to fix getting ghosted and put the right systems in place to convert more freelance/agency leads: https://benjaminboman.com/alan-thomas-agency-sales/ I thought it'd be interesting to some people here 🙏
Tik Tok Ads
I'm setting up my first tik tok ads campaign and I'm trying to make a brand page so I can link it to my ads manager. How do i do this?
300 Million Loads (on pace for 1 billion): The Compounding Edge You Can't Vibe-Code
Sometimes I get asked: "Why not just vibe-code my own lead funnel with a few AI tools, test it, and maybe switch over later? Or honestly... why use anything at all?" I have a bunch of answers to this. From highly technical reasons to it simply not being a great use of your time. But there's another one that only occurred to me after digging into the data. As of now, LeadCapture has loaded over 300 million times. (It's actually higher, I just don't have the first couple years of data.) And here's the thing: every one of those page loads, every lesson, every data point compounds. It all feeds a flywheel around what we build. That's not to mention the lessons. Like when one of our users scaled up from 1K - 88K leads/mo in the course of 5 months (tons of pain here dealing with issues that you only hit at scale... all of which feeds back into our platform as lessons). The point is we can see what's working and what isn't (we never share specific funnels or customers though). We get real input from operators in the trenches. Then we combine that input with intuition driven by data to bet on what to build next... to steer the ship in the right direction. Those insights compound. The flywheel spins faster. And EVERYBODY on the platform benefits, because it's a highly specialized thing that's being adjusted and rebuilt in near real time based on those feedback loops. I guess there's a sort of network effect. While most vibe-coded funnels have none of this. No compounding inputs. No flywheel. Nobody steering the thing for the greater good. And I think that's exactly why most of them look identical... I can pick out a Lovable funnel from a mile away. Which brings me to how we actually build LeadCapture. I don't talk much about our building philosophy, but there's a real strategy here, and it comes down to three inputs: → Operators in the trenches tell us what they need → Data show us what actually works with AI layered in to help identify trends → I spend ~5–10% of my time on wild bets nobody's thinking about
