Day 44/56 - Your First 56 Days Challenge 🇺🇸
Good morning, everyone! Today is Day 44 of Your First 56 Days! It’s hard to believe we’re getting so close to the finish line! 🎥Your challenge: Today, we’re talking about something personal: the biggest disappointment you’ve ever had in your life. Think about a difficult experience, a broken friendship, an unmet expectation, or a moment when someone let you down. Talk about what happened, how it made you feel, and what you learned from the experience. Remember, the goal isn’t to tell a perfect story. It’s to practice expressing your thoughts and emotions in English with more confidence and clarity. Your mission today: 1. Record a 60–90 second video. 2. Post it in our community and encourage others. 3. Comment on at least one other video. Consistency today. Day 1/56 - Your First 56 Days Challenge 🎯
Welcome to your first Fluent & Free challenge! The 56-Day Challenge was created to help you build the most important habit for anyone who wants to speak English with confidence: practicing a little bit every day. At first, it might seem like recording one video a day won’t make much of a difference. You might even think, “Does this really work?” The answer is: yes. Trust the process. When you watch the video you recorded today and compare it to the video you record on Day 56, I’m sure you’ll see a huge difference in your confidence, pronunciation, and ability to express yourself. Before you begin, go to the Classroom tab and watch the video called “Your First 56 Days.” In this video, I explain exactly how the challenge works and how to get the most out of it. Then, come back here and post your first video in the comments. Day 41/56 - Your First 56 Days Challenge 🇺🇸
Good morning, everyone, and happy Friday! 🇺🇸 Welcome to Day 41 of our 56-day challenge! I can’t believe we’re already here. Congratulations on completing another week and making it this far! For today’s challenge, we’re going to practice giving advice in English. Imagine a friend comes to you because they just found out their partner cheated on them. What would you say? Take a look at the lesson script, try to use some of the recommended expressions, and watch my video for an example. Now it’s your turn to put your English to work! A big thank-you to everyone who joined our food class with April yesterday! I posted the class materials here, and I’ll have the recording available in the Recorded Live Lessons folder by Monday. Tomorrow, we have another live session with me! We’ll be talking about pronunciation, homophones, and some useful tips to help you sound more natural. Day 24/56 - Your First 56 Days Challenge 🇺🇸
Good morning, everyone! Look how far you’ve come! Today is already Day 24 of Your First 56 Days! 🎉 Today’s challenge is all about your last vacation! Tell us about your trip, where you went, what you did, and your favorite memories. Pay close attention to the past tense verbs you use. 💡 A little pronunciation tip: Past tense verbs ending in -ED are one of the biggest challenges for Brazilian English learners. If you’re unsure how to pronounce a word, type it into Google followed by pronunciation and listen carefully. I hope you enjoy my video, and I can’t wait to watch yours!
