Day 5: What you're built for is happening in 3 hours
Something I use
Hey guys - I don't know if this is ok to share here or not, but I've been using an app called Brain.fm for many years (I'm not an affiliate or anything) but I really like it. I find it helps me to focus on the task at hand. I also find listening to classical music seems to help my focus as well. Does anyone else use music for focus when it all feels too hard?
Supplement recommendations for Biology/weeek 2
for supplements I already use all of the recommended. Has anyone made good experiences with L-CARNOSİNE, high doses L-carnosine in particular? I've been using it on and off because you basically cannot overdose it. Unlike most things even if it's said that water soluble vitamins like the B group(extreme exception is B6), which have said to be "safe", but new evidence actually does say high doses of vitamins etc(synthetic forms, which most supplements are) is actually detrimental. There is one youtube channel that promoted EXTREMELY high doses of Thiamine (B1) and I followed that, he now said he is sorry for his clients (only, not his youtube viewers.... 😤) that he recommended the high doses.....It was discovered that people with mitochondrial/ATP and other energ related issues actually had the opposite effect as in LESS energy than already was lacking and I was one of these folks....I was taking high doses and the ONLY thing it helped me with was when I took a dose before sleep it helped me passing out......So I learned my lesson the hard way with listening to others advice and also with what I recommend. Thank goodness I never recommended as high doses as I am taking for other's, but for my own sake I wish I wouldn't have trusted somebody that in the end doesn't even apologize for his mistake(s)‼️😔 PS: I DON'T KNOW HOW this turned into a rant 😅 But to end on a positive note: IF you can tolerate fermented foods(I love them, bur yea not a good time after eating with brain fog etc due to histamine), get them in abundance & you'll get B Vitamins galore✌🏽
Aphantasia
Aphantasia is the absence or near-absence of voluntary mental imagery. Where many people can picture a friend’s face or imagine a beach, an aphantasic mind thinks in concepts, words, facts, or spatial awareness rather than visual pictures. The term was coined by neurologist Adam Zeman in 2015, though Francis Galton first described the experience back in the 1880s. Many aphantasic people only realize their experience differs when they learn that others actually “see” images in their minds, and that phrases like “picture this” aren’t always metaphorical. Hearing that for the first time can be both disorienting and clarifying. Research suggests the most meaningful difference may be emotional, not cognitive. Mental imagery seems to amplify emotional responses to imagined scenarios, so without it, people often process fear, empathy, and memory in their own way. Creativity itself does not appear to be affected. Aphantasia can be present from birth or acquired through brain injury, trauma, or neurological change. Some researchers have noted possible overlap with autism and ADHD though that connection is still being explored.
Decluttering
Before you keep something "just in case", ask yourself, "If I didn't already own this, would I go out and buy it today?" If the answer is no, it might be time to let it go. What do you think? I have loads of “just in case” things but never thought of it that way
TIPS SHARING
When you feel heaviness in something you are doing, feeling and sharing, what do you do to give a little of smoothness? - I use funny gif even I go deep in writing some deep reflection - I dance with a nice song - I look for a short carton to watch after a big release What about you?
